Nicholas Bissen is a DACAMERA Young Artist and freelance teacher and performer in Houston, TX. As a teacher, Nicholas’s students perform in competitive recitals, place in All-State ensembles, and win concerto competitions. He has held a variety of teaching positions, from coaching BOA Super Regional finalist Blue Springs South High School to serving as Nathan Nabb’s sabbatical replacement at Stephen F. Austin State University, providing a variety of need for high achieving students. Nicholas currently teaches at the New England Music Camp, Lone Star Community College, Fort Bend ISD, Tomball ISD, The Kinkaid School, and Spring ISD.
