COLOR GUARD
Color Guard Experience Camps
Learn the basics of color guard in a fun and supportive environment!
Our color guard experience camp is designed for students who are new to color guard. No prior experience needed! We will cover dance technique, flag handling, and choreography. We will have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience at the end of the camp.
Our camp is led by the Clements color guard instructors who will teach you the skills you need to succeed. We will also provide you with the opportunity to learn from our current high school color guard members. This camp is a great way to get started in color guard and to meet other students who are interested in the same thing.

About Us:
Color Guard is a performance based art that incorporates pageantry though dance, costuming, and the manipulation of equipment (flags, rifles and sabres). The Clements High School Guard contributes to the marching band’s visual program during the fall semester. They join the marching band at halftime performances and at UIL, BOA, and regional competitions.
During the winter and spring semesters, the high school guard members form the Winter Guard team. During this season, the guard performs independently in a gymnasium against other guards at the area, state, and national levels. The Clements Guard is an extremely successful group of about 30 performers who have dedicated themselves to this art.
Our Clements Middle School guard consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from across FBISD. They perform solely in the winter and spring seasons. They are the 2019 TCGC State Champions for their performing class.
