COLOR GUARD
Color Guard is a performance based art that incorporates pageantry though dance, costuming, and the manipulation of equipment (flags, rifles and sabres). The Clements High School Guard contributes to the marching band’s visual program during the fall semester. They join the marching band at halftime performances and at UIL, BOA, and regional competitions.
During the winter and spring semesters, the high school guard members form the Winter Guard team. During this season, the guard performs independently in a gymnasium against other guards at the area, state, and national levels. The Clements Guard is an extremely successful group of about 30 performers who have dedicated themselves to this art.
Our Clements Cadet guard consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from across FBISD. They perform solely in the winter and spring seasons. They are the 2019 TCGC State Champions for their performing class.
