Ali Jackson
Tuba
Ali Jackson, a professional tubist from the Sugar Land area since 1999, also enjoys teaching low brass private lessons. Since his initial teaching appointment at the age of 16 for First Colony Middle School, Ali’s students have enjoyed consistent success in auditions as well as in solo competitions. Mr. Jackson’s students have gone on to become a myriad of successful musicians, including active freelance musicians, and a university professor of tuba/euphonium and a two-time first chair All State Tuba player. Mr. Jackson also several multi-year TMEA All State Tuba participants. Ali’s hobbies include Hi-Fi audio equipment, working on cars, studying severe weather, deejay, and home improvement. (Mr. Jackson is also a proud graduate of Clements High School, class of 1999.)
